AceShowbiz - Keyshia Cole has been hospitalized. The "I Should Have Cheated" songstress has revealed that she was rushed to the emergency room after she suffered from the "worst anxiety attacks."

Making use of Instagram Story on Wednesday, May 4, the 40-year-old singer/songwriter unveiled her recent health scare. "I'm so proud of getting a few hours sleep, literally have been getting None! So not ok. SMH. And, have been having the worst anxiety attacks," she began.

"When I can literally feel my heart hurting. Had to take my a** to the emergency room," Keyshia continued. The "Love" hitmaker later said that the doctors gave her "damn medicine for anxiety," before noting that she still "didn't KNOW wtf was happening to [her]."

Upon learning of her medical issue, many of her fans were quick to send her some support. One person said, "Anxiety is real and no joke. Prayers up for her! [red heart emojis]." Another fan chimed in, "Oh nooo..get well soon babe."

In the meantime, others believed that Keyshia suffered from anxiety attacks due to the grief after she lost her father, reportedly to COVID-19 complications, and her mother, to a drug overdose last year. "After watching her interview after her mom passed i hurt soooo bad for her [sad emoji] she did a lot of nervous laughing and stuttering. I used to be the same way, trying to cope with anxiety. She holds in A LOT of pain from childhood to now grieving her mother. Praying for her," one person commented.

"The heart palpitations always scare me . She is grieving STILL . She needs therapy again and meditation . The meds are only a band aid for an open wound . Keyshia is strong , her mom will not let her fall," a different loyal supporter added. Someone else opined, "She doesn't look the same. Still grieving I'm sure," with another agreeing, "She is still grieving yall. I know where she is because I am there. I pray for her strength."
