For the star-studded event in New York City, the former host of 'The Wendy Williams Show' looks elegant in a bright red dress and a black bunny ears headband.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams is apparently having a fun night. The former host of "The Wendy Williams Show" looked sexy, glowing and healthy when she attended Cardi B's Met Gala afterparty in New York City.

In a clip shared by "Hollywood Unlocked with Jason Lee Uncensored" host Jason Lee on Monday, May 2, the 57-year-old TV hostess could be seen wearing a bright red dress, putting her cleavage on display. To complete her look, she added a black bunny ears headband.

"Yo, I came to New York for the Met Gala but I didn't come outside without the sexiest date in New York City," said Jason in the short clip before panning the camera to Wendy. The daytime diva then smiled and giggled as Jason asked her, "How you doin'?" to which she replied, "How you doing?"

In the comment section of Jason's post, many of Wendy's fans gushed over her looks. "She looks soooo healthy omg i'm so happy im crying [red heart emojis]," one fan commented. Another chimed in, "Omg!!!!! Wendy!!!! She looks so good omg I'm in tears it's sooo good to see her." A separate person added, "Aunt Wendy looking good yessssssssss."

Wendy's Met Gala afterparty sighting came a little over two weeks after she was overheard talking about making a "big comeback on TV" after skipping the entire last season of her show due to her health issues. "When you hear her talkā€¦ anyone who's known her for years, knows they're getting a Wendy who's ready to work. She's really in good form," said an onlooker after Wendy was seen having dinner at Fresco by Scotto.

"Wendy was talking to Baruch about her situation with Wells Fargo and she confidently said 'I'm getting my money back very soon,' " the spy continued. During the dining, "Good Day New York" anchor Rosanna Scotto, who owned the resto, reportedly "greeted Wendy warmly" and "people were excited to see her out."

Another source, who witnessed her at the restaurant, described her as "vibrant." The insider shared, "She looks great. No one was helping her. It was very different from the person who we've seen in the wheelchair. She was walking by herself. No one helped her get in her car. She climbed right in and it was a Suburban."

A few days earlier, Wendy herself appeared to declare that she's "ready" for court. Making use of her Instagram account, the TV hostess shared a photo of her looking happy and healthy. In the snapshot, she could be seen wearing a leopard-print coat while holding her Louis Vuitton purse. She simply captioned her post, "Ready," adding a smiling face emoji.
