The veteran Hong Kong actor is found collapsed on the floor of a hotel, which serves as a place for travelers to quarantine after going overseas, after returning from Singapore.

AceShowbiz - Hong Kong actor Kenneth Tsang has passed away while quarantining in a hotel. The actor was found dead on Wednesday, April 27 in a COVID-19 quarantine hotel in the southern Chinese city, according to local media.
Tsang had been undergoing seven days of quarantine after returning from Singapore on Monday. On Wednesday, he was found collapsed on the floor of his hotel room at Hong Kong's Kowloon Hotel on Nathan Road after the Department of Health performed a guest check and no one answered, South China Morning Post reported. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No cause of death was given as it was reported that Tsang had tested negative for the virus on Tuesday and had no underlying medical conditions. An autopsy is performed to determine his cause of death. The South China Morning Post said Tsang was 87 but other sources gave his age as 86.
Paying tribute to the late actor, Tsang's manager Andrew Ooi at Echelon Talent Management told Variety, "Kenneth was not only a wonderfully gifted actor, but he was also a dear friend whom I respected and I could turn to for advise when needed. It was a joy and honor to watch him work and bring the many characters he played to life. I'm saddened and I will miss him."
Ooi also mourned the death on Instagram. "Dear Kenneth, thank you for being a friend. It was an honour to work with you over all these years. I will miss your wise counsel, laughter and our dimsum lunches with you and Lina," he wrote alongside photos of the veteran star.
He added, "May you rest in eternal peace and be remembered for all the wonderful movies that you made. If you see my grandma in heaven, please say hi for me, she was a big fan who told me all about you when I first started watching your films. I will miss you. Tsang was best known internationally for his roles in the 2002 James Bond film "Die Another Day", John Woo's "The Killer" in 1989, "Rush Hour 2" in 2001 starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, and 1998's "The Replacement Killers" in which he starred alongside Chow Yun-Fat and Mira Sorvino. His latest projects include "Man on the Edge", which was released earlier this month, and "The Modelizer", which is currently in post-production.
