After agreeing to get married in Mexico on their seventh date, the reality TV star and her partner make it into reality by throwing their 'most special day' at Itzik Wedding Venue.

AceShowbiz - When it came to their big day, Christie Murphy and Jamie Martin knew what they wanted. On Saturday, April 23, the twosome celebrated their dream wedding at Itzik Wedding Avenue in Tulum, Mexico after being engaged for almost eight months.
The pair gushed to Us Weekly about their wedding, calling it "the most special day of both our lives." They expressed their satisfaction as sharing, "We can't stop talking about it and looking at the photos in awe! All the months of planning and picking out every little detail just came together and it was perfect! We both just keep saying that it was literally the best night of our lives. Such a blast and so connective."
Elaborating more, Christie and Jamie added, "We're just incredibly grateful for how seamless the wedding week has been! We loved having our friends and family there to experience the biggest day of our lives." They noted that the only thing missing from their big day was their puppies, Ruffles and Beans.
The nuptials were attended by some of Christie's "Big Brother" season 20 housemates, including Analyse Talavera, Nick Maccarone, Holly Allen and Tommy Bracco, along with season 19 alums Elena Davies and Marie Roda.
In the interview with the outlet, the "Big Brother" star also revealed that the plan for their wedding was "talked about literally on our 7th date in Tulum." She divulged, "We came here together super early on in our relationship and we joked about just eloping while we were there. We didn't, but we said, 'This is where we'll do it one day.' "
Before throwing their "perfect" wedding, Christie and Jamie had actually tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in December 2021. They did it in order to obtain a marriage license in their New Jersey residence. However, in honor of their shared love of travel and mutual history in Tulum, they decided to throw the bash months later.
Christie and Jamie got engaged in August 2021. Jamie got down on one knee and proposed to the reality TV star in Paris. To commemorate their Parisian engagement, Christie posted the picture of the proposal on her Instagram account. Along with the post, she wrote a caption that read, "Haven't yet woken up from this dream. Engaged to the LOVE OF MY LIFE in Paris!"
