AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian won't let anyone say negative things about her and her only child, True Thompson. Having been criticized for holding her daughter too much during "The Kardashians" premiere on Thursday, April 7, the TV personality took to social media to shut down the haters.
The 37-year-old offered her clapback via Twitter on Friday. "For the people who comment that I hold True too much… number 1 I'm gonna hold my baby until I can't hold her anymore," she pointed out. "Number 2 when there's tons of cameras around, flashing lights, peps yelling things…I want my baby to feel safe. Worry about your own children. We good over here."
At the event, which took place at Goya Studios in Los Angeles, California, Khloe was seen cradling her 3-year-old baby girl on the red carpet. It prompted one Twitter user to comment, "Khloe should put true down and let her grace the red carpet in style," adding that "carrying her looks ridiculous." A different individual tweeted that True was "not a damn baby."
Khloe shares daughter True with her on-and-off then-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. The reality star addressed her split from the basketball player when speaking to "Good Morning America" co-anchor, Robin Roberts, during "The Kardashians: An ABC News Special" earlier this month.
"I think at the end of the day all of us just aspire to have blissfulness... We want to be happy and we want to feel safe," the daughter of Kris Jenner explained. "With Tristan, I did feel incredibly safe in the beginning, and I felt really good for a time."
"I remember when he cheated on me right before I gave birth [to True] and I was able to still have him in the delivery room," the Good American founder continued. "It might have looked strange to the outside world, but when my daughter watches my home videos, those videos are going to be as pure and perfect as I was able to make them."
Khloe went on to note, "I still think he's a great guy and a great dad." The younger sister of Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian then added, "He's just not the guy for me."
