AceShowbiz - Rihanna celebrated her mother Monica Braithwaite's birthday by sharing a loving tribute. The "Umbrella" hitmaker, who is currently expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky, revealed in her sweet messages that pregnancy has "unlocked new levels of love and respect" she has for her mom.
Making use of Instagram on Wednesday, April 5, the 34-year-old Barbadian superstar shared a throwback picture of her and her mother. In the accompaniment of the post, she first wrote, "Today is my Queen's birthday!!!"

Rihanna is clearly excited to embark on the motherhood journey. While the baby has yet to be born, the "Diamond" singer already made it clear that she will be a protective mom. "You talk about my kids, it's over," she elaborated in a March interview with Elle.
Noting that "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice "does not play about her kids," Rihanna said, "She will flatten you about those kids… And that resonates with me a lot because I feel like that's the type of mom I'm going to be. Psycho about it."
When recounting the moment she knew she was pregnant, RiRi said, "When I first found out, it's not real, you know? I was like, 'This is not for real, right?' " She further explained, "And then, it was and it's almost like you don't want to get too excited too soon because it's great news, but you...want to see that it's going to see its way through. And I'm so glad that we're this far along and now I can celebrate with everyone."
