According to the American business magazine, the 'Umbrella' hitmaker is among the freshman class of billionaires as well as the first billionaire of her home country of Barbados.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna has officially joined Forbes' annual billionaires list. For the first time in her career, the Fenty Beauty founder makes it to the list, joining the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Jay-Z.

In the list that was released on Tuesday, April 5, Forbes included some returning billionaires and entrepreneurs who made the cut for the first time. According to the American business magazine, the "Umbrella" hitmaker is among the freshman class of billionaires as well as the first billionaire of her home country of Barbados.

The 34-year-old multi-hyphenate was named the world's richest female musician. The report also claimed that her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line and her Savage X Fenty lingerie business has net worth of $1.7 billion, putting her at #1,729 on this year's list.

RiRi officially reached billionaire status back in 2021. Speaking about her milestone in a September 2021 interview with the New York Times, she said, "It's tricky because it's hard to even accept that's where you're at because I know where I've come from." The singer, who is currently expecting her first child with rapper A$AP Rocky, added, "At the same time, it feels good to be able to inspire young women and boys, who like me, come from humble beginnings, who come from parents who are immigrants or who are immigrants themselves, to be able to do this."

Ye, meanwhile, ranked No. 1,513 with an estimated net worth of $2 billion, thanks to his lucrative Yeezy partnership with Adidas and long-term arrangement with Gap. The three are among the world's super-rich musicians as they managed to enter the pool of 2,668 billionaires that's constantly changing. Meanwhile, Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk topped the Forbes list as his net worth is estimated at $219 billion. At the second place was Amazon chief Jess Bezos, who raked in a $171 billion.
