'The Walking Dead' Star Moses J. Moseley Dead at 31 in Suspected Suicide

The actor, who was best known for portraying Mike on the hit AMC series, reportedly had gone missing for days before his body was discovered near the Hudson Bridge in Stockbridge, Georgia.

AceShowbiz - "The Walking Dead" has lost one of its cast members. Moses J. Moseley, who was best known for portraying Mike on the hit AMC series, has passed away at the age of 31.

Confirming the actor's passing was one of his family members. The individual told TMZ that his body was found on Wednesday, January 26 near the Hudson Bridge in Stockbridge, Georgia.

Prior to his death, Moses reportedly had gone missing since Sunday of last week. His family initially called nearby hospitals, but to no avail. They later called OnStar which tracked his car and that's where his body was discovered.

The family member claimed that the actor died of a gunshot wound. Law enforcement sources, on the other hand, revealed to the publication that his death is being investigated as a possible suicide.

In the wake of Moses' passing, AMC Networks took to Twitter to pay tribute to the late star. "Our thoughts and prayers are with our #TWDFamily member Moses J. Moseley," so read the statement.

Meanwhile, his representative Tabatha Minchew told The Wrap, "He wasn't just a client for me. We have been best friends for 10 years. He was at my wedding." The rep added, "Everyone who ever met him loved him, no one has ever had anything negative to say about him. When he was around everyone was so happy. He made everyone so happy. We're all trying to wrap our heads around it as well."

Moses appeared on "The Walking Dead" from 2012 and 2015 as Mike, one of Michonne's (played by Danai Gurira) pet zombies. In addition to the show, he had guest-starring roles on series like "Watchmen" and "Queen of the South". He also appeared in movies such as "Joyful Noise", "The Internship" as well as "Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies".
