Along with her powerful messages, the former 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant thanks everyone who has shown her 'the most love' since she came forward with her sexuality.

AceShowbiz - It has been one year since JoJo Siwa came out as a part of the LGBTQ+ community. To mark the special occasion, the former "Dance Moms" star took to her social media account to post encouraging messages to her young fans.

Making use of Instagram, the 18-year-old shared some photos of herself. One in particular saw her sporting the "Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever." T-shirt that she wore back on January 22, 2021. She began her caption by writing, "In the last 365 days I've felt more love than ever. A year ago today I posted this picture and shared with the world that I was gay."

"I get asked a lot 'was coming out scary for you'… and the answer is yes of course, anything that's different about you is scary, however… it's what makes me… me. so I had no fear with sharing it with the world," the YouTube sensation added. "I also get asked a lot 'your demographic is so young are you worried about telling kids your gay.' "

"Truthfully I feel like I was put on this earth to be a role model for kids, and letting all the kids of the world know that loving everyone for who they are no matter what is something that I will always believe in and always share," she added. "Please never forget that no matter who you are, what you look like, who you LOVE that you are absolutely perfect. thank you for showing me the most love throughout this year and throughout my entire life. I love you all."

Shortly after coming out, JoJo divulged that she's dating her bestfriend, Kylie Prew. However, JoJo confirmed in November that they had called it quits. While appearing on Paris Hilton's podcast "This Is Paris", she said, "I have yet to talk about this officially, publicly, but we broke up."

"(Kylie) is still my best friend. I talked to her yesterday, she just got a new puppy. She's awesome. She's having the time of her life, I'm having the time of my life... I'm really lucky that I didn't lose her completely because, you know, even though relationships end, friendships don't have to end," the "Dancing with the Stars" alum added. She also admitted that her hectic schedule was a factor as well as it being a case of "right person, wrong time."
