The Southern District of Florida previously stated that the 'Back In Blood' spitter, born Lontrell Dennell Williams Jr., could face up to 20 years in federal prison.

AceShowbiz - Pooh Shiesty has reportedly pleaded guilty to one federal charge in his Florida shooting case. As a result, the "Back In Blood" spitter managed to avoid a possible life sentence, according to Rolling Stone.

In a Tuesday, January 4 hearing, the 22-year-old entered a guilty plea for "conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes." With the plea deal, federal prosecutors decided to ditch three other counts that could have resulted in a lifetime prison sentence.

The publication further reported that the plea deal led to prosecutors agreeing to suggest no more than a 97-month prison sentence, or eight years and one month. The United States Attorney's Office in the Southern District of Florida previously noted that the rapper could face up to 20 years in federal prison.

Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell Dennell Williams Jr., has been taken into custody after his bonds were revoked in June. At first, he was granted a $10,000 bond by a judge in his Miami-Dade shooting case on May 30, in which he allegedly shot one of the security guards at the King of Diamonds nightclub.

Unfortunately, another judge decided to keep Shiesty in prison. The 1017 Records and Atlantic Records artist's other bond in his October 2020 shooting case in Florida also got revoked.

In the 2020 case, Shiesty, along with friends Bobby Brown and Jayden Darosa, arranged a meeting in the parking lot of the Landon Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands to buy marijuana and "high-end athletic sneakers." However, once the sellers arrived at the spot, the musical artist and his pals refused to pay for the items.

It was reported that Shiesty shot one of the men in the butt. His friend Brown, on the other hand, fired a gunshot to another guy in the hip. The group then left the scene.
