In the wake of the shocking news of Steve's engagement to Janis Carlson, the 'RHOC' alum's famous friends take to social media to express their support for her.

AceShowbiz - While Steve Lodge is excitement with his engagement to Janis Carlson, it isn't the case for his ex Vicki Gunvalson. It is safe to assume that the reality TV star does not wish the couple all the best after it was revealed on Monday, January 3 that they had been engaged.
In a statement to Page Six, Vicki said, "I really don't want to give him any more publicity." The former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" went on to blast her ex, "He's a fame w***e."
Steve proposed to Janis, a 37-year-old school teacher, in December, just five days before they became Instagram-official. "I did ask Janis on Dec. 20 if she would become Mrs. Steve Chavez Lodge, and she happily agreed," the once-wannabe California governor told PEOPLE. "We will be married in April 2022."
He continued, "We are both very excited, incredibly happy, totally in love and look forward to our life together."
In the wake of the engagement news, Vicki's famous friends took to social media to express their support for her. "If @vgunvalson doesn't find a GREAT guy this year, it won't be a good year. She deserves it. #FullLoveTankForVG," Andy Cohen wrote on Twitter. Tamra Judge, meanwhile, retweeted Andy's post.
Prior to this, Vicki appeared to shade Steve while commenting on Lala Kent's recent "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast interview featuring Lala reflecting on her own relationship with ex-fiance Randall Emmet. "Sounds very similar to the man who stole almost 6 years of my life that I will never get back. So hurtful, so wrong," the Coto Insurance president wrote.
Vicki and Steve called off their engagement in September after five years of dating. The reality TV star accused the politician of cheating, lying and using her throughout the duration of their romantic relationship. "He used me, he lied to me, he's been dating a 36 year old and is not what he portrays himself to be," she alleged at the time. "No Christian man would do what he's done."
Meanwhile, Steve vehemently denied his ex's claims. "The absolute lies she is now spreading on social media is very disappointing and disingenuous, to say the least," he claimed. "But I cannot say I'm surprised. She should not be dragging Tamra or anyone else into her lies."
"Vicki and I ended our engagement and relationship in December of 2020," Steve clarified as Vicki only confirmed their split in September this year. The politician continued, "We had not been in an intimate relationship since September of 2020."
