AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid were happily co-parenting their daughter Khai until this year. The pair, who have been dating on and off since late 2015, called it quits earlier this year after the former One Direction member assaulted Gigi's mom Yolanda Hadid during an altercation on September 29, 2021. The details of the fight remained unknown until October 28, when TMZ published a report that claimed he "struck" "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum.
Defending himself in a lengthy post on Twitter, the "Pillow Talk" singer wrote, "In an effort to protect that space for her, I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago." He added, "I am hopeful thought for healing and for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves."
