Prior to welcoming 2022 in just a few hours, let us take a look at several biggest headline-makers which get people talking for days or even weeks throughout the year.

AceShowbiz - Tiger Woods nearly escaped death this year when he got into a car accident on February 23. The pro athlete was traveling on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes when the crash took place at roughly 7 A.M. local time. Woods was immediately hospitalized after firefighters used an ax and other tools to remove him from the severely damaged vehicle.

In November, Woods later addressed his car accident in his first news conference since the crash in Southern California. "This one's been much more difficult," Woods said. "The knee stuff was one thing. That's one level. Then the back. With this right leg. ... it's hard to explain how difficult it is. Being immobile for three months. Just to lay there. I was just looking forward to getting outside. That was a goal of mine. Especially for a person who lived his entire life outside, that was a goal. I transitioned from a wheelchair to crutches and now nothing. It's been a lot of hard work."
