AceShowbiz - Meghan King is single again this Christmas. The reality TV star has reportedly called it quits with her husband Cuffe Biden Owens, who is none other than President Joe Biden's nephew, after only two months of marriage.
Page Six was the first to break the news. It's apparently not a secret to Meghan's inner circle as a source tells the site, "She has told friends they broke up." It's unclear what led to the separation as representatives for Meghan and Cuffe have not responded to the breakup report.
Meghan and Cuffe, who met on a dating app, tied the knot on October 11 at his parents' house in Kennet Square, Pennsylvania following a whirlwind romance. The 42-year-old attorney's mother Valerie Biden Owens is the sister of President Joe Biden. According to the White House, the president and First Lady Jill Biden attended the "small, family wedding."
Gushing about her wedding day, Meghan told Brides magazine, "Our wedding was about two things for us." She added, "Our love for and commitment to each other, and our family - each of our families, and the new very large and very tight family that we were bonding together by getting married. That's it."
"When we realized that Cuffe's parents' wedding anniversary - October 11 - was a holiday Monday, we both knew exactly what we were going to do, where we were going to do it, and how we were going to do it," the 37-year-old further shared. "It's a beautiful thing to see eye-to-eye with each other as we do."
Meghan was previously married to former baseball player Jim Edmonds from 2014 until their split in October 2019. Upon learning of his ex-wife's marriage to Cuffe, Jim told Daily Mail, "I thought it was a joke. They'd been dating for about four weeks!" He added that he wondered to himself, "Is she pregnant? But is it even possible to know that just four weeks after the first date?"
