Previously, 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star reportedly refused to film anything for the reality show's upcoming season because she allegedly felt undervalued.

AceShowbiz - Kathy Hilton seemingly will be returning for season 12 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills". If a new report is to be believed, the reality star will be back filming for the franchise's new season after getting a raise.

On Wednesday, December 15, a source spilled to TMZ that the 62-year-old TV personality will be back in front of "RHOBH" cameras after the show's producers reportedly agreed to pay her more money. The mom of Paris Hilton reportedly negotiated with Bravo producers for weeks until they were able to come to an agreement.

After reaching the deal, Kathy reportedly will appear on the show as a "friend of" the cast and make regular appearances. The socialite is expected to begin filming with the rest of the "RHOBH" cast in 2022 following the holiday season, the outlet reported.

In November, rumors swirled that Kathy hadn't yet signed on as a "friend of" for the upcoming season because she was waiting for show producers to pay her more cash as she previously felt she was being undervalued. Sources also claimed that the filming had been going well for several weeks without the Bravo show's fan favorite.

As for why Kathy had yet to film for the show, her sister, Kyle Richards, remained tight-lipped. In early November, Kyle explained that Kathy was absent due to preparations for Paris' wedding to Carter Reum. "Where do you think [she is]? She's getting ready for Paris' wedding," the 52-year-old Bravolebrity said at the time, before adding, "Not today, Paris is getting married today."

Kyle also responded to speculations that she wouldn't be returning to the show. The mom of four stated, "You know, I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow. I could be skiing off Mount Everest. I don't know right now, I'm just concentrating on the wedding."

Kathy first joined the Bravo reality show in October 2020 as a "friend" for season 11. A source claimed that she didn't want to be a full-time cast member because she thought it'd be "easier" to make appearances when she pleased.

More recently, it's reported that the production of "RHOBH" is partially paused after several people on set tested positive for COVID-19, including Lisa Rinna, Garcelle Beauvais and Erika Jayne. Luckily, the reality stars were all vaccinated and had mild symptoms.
