The Sacramento Kings star has reportedly requested a judge to ban former lover Maralee Nichols from spilling any details regarding their paternity battle.

AceShowbiz - Tristan Thompson is scrambling to keep details of his paternity battle with latest baby mama hush hush. According to TMZ, the NBA star has requested an emergency gag order to ban his ex-lover, a personal trainer named Maralee Nichols, from speaking out to the press.
The Sacramento Kings player accused Maralee of violating a confidentiality order verbally granted by a judge after she filed a paternity lawsuit against him. He claimed she had been doing interviews with the media and spreading lies about him and his family on social media.
According to the basketball athlete, Maralee leaked personal information and shared fabricated Snapchat messages, which she claimed were sent to her by him. He accused her of defaming him "to achieve some sort of notoriety and gain for herself in this lawsuit."
The pro hooper, who also shares a daughter with Khloe Kardashian, asked judge to have Maralee post over $30k as a bond in case she broke the gag order.
The gag order request came after his alleged private messages leaked. In the supposed texts, the basketballer was clearly not happy with his former lover. He offered $75,000 to buy her silence, trying to convince her it was her best bet because he's retiring soon. He also made it clear he wanted "zero involvement" with the baby.
"You know how I feel," he reportedly told Maralee. "My feelings haven't changed at all. Wont be involved at all. btw if you think having this baby is gonna make you some money. It's completely wrong. You are aware that I'm retiring after this season."
"So in terms of support it will be whatever is required monthly for someone who's unemployed. It's Texas so it will be only a couple hundred dollars. So you better off taking this 75k I'm offering cause you won't get nothing near that with having a kid with a father who's unemployed."
Maralee has reportedly given birth to a baby boy.
