AceShowbiz - Dean McDermott appeared to be not in the best spirits when he played hockey amid rumors of marriage rift. The husband of Tori Spelling was caught having a fistfight with another guy during what was supposed to be a friendly game.
In pictures obtained by Page Six, the 55-year-old was seen throwing punches at the other man on the ice rink in Los Angeles on Monday, November 22. It's not clear what led to the physical altercation, but the actor looked angry as he took a swing with his fist.
Dean wouldn't let the other man go even and pulled his hand when his opponent wasn't trying to fight back. The other man eventually launched his counter attack, pulling Dean's shorts and grabbing him by the collar.
Both men were in full hockey gear with their helmets, knee pads and ice skates on. They apparently threw their hockey sticks onto the ice during the tussle, as they were seen abandoned around them. No spectators and other players were seen in the photos and it's unknown if there's anyone who broke up the fight.
The fistfight came amid reports that Dean and Tori are having trouble in their marriage and are probably headed for divorce. Fueling the divorce speculation, the two were recently spotted ditching their wedding rings on separate occasions.
In September, however, Dean explained on "Feminine Warrior" podcast that Tori forgot to put her ring back on after washing her hands when she was seen without it on. As for his missing ring, he said that he lost his own wedding band while playing golf.
"I lost my utility ring and then somebody saw that [and said], 'He doesn't have his ring,' " the "Due South" star said at the time. "So, now, everybody's in a titter, so I'm like, 'Forget it, I'm not going to replace it. Just let them think it.' "
The rumors resurfaced again after Tori unveiled her family holiday card featuring her and her five kids without her husband. She quickly explained her husband's absence though, writing in the comment of her post that in "fact," "@imdeanmcdermott was filming his new feature film in Canada" when the picture was taken.
