Back in July, Madonna took to her Instagram account to lead the chorus of celebrities who came out in support of Britney after she testified against her conservatorship in court. "Give this woman her life back," the Material Girl wrote at the time. "Slavery was abolished so long ago! Death to the greedy patriarchy that has been doing this to women for centuries. This is a violation of human rights!"

Madonna previously revealed in an interview that she "can't wait to spend time" with the "Toxic" singer again. "I'm really happy for her," she told "Extra" in September. "I adore her."

Britney and Madonna met in 2001 at one of the "Vogue" singer's concerts. The pair then made headlines when they kissed onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards two years later. They followed it up the infamous stunt by releasing a collaboration, "Me Against the Music".

A judge as decided on November 12 to terminate Britney's 13-year conservatorship without requiring any further mental evaluation. The "Lucky" singer posted a celebratory video of her fans popping confetti outside the Los Angeles courthouse while writing, "Good God I love my fans so much it's crazy!!! I think I'm gonna cry the rest of the day !!!! Best day ever … praise the Lord … can I get an Amen ???? #FreedBritney."

She recently also hinted at possible tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. "Honestly, my voice was muted and threatened for so long," she said in a nearly two-minute-long video on Instagram. "I wasn't able to speak up or say anything and because of you guys and your awareness and knowing what was going on and delivering that news to the public for so long you gave them awareness to all of them. Because of you, I think you guys saved my life in a way. One hundred per cent."

In the caption, Britney teased, "I might as well do a hint of my thoughts on the gram before I go and set things square on @Oprah!!!!!"
