According to a new report, the 'Sister Wives' star's remaining wives Meri, Robyn and Janelle Brown are inspired by Kody and Christine's split 'in one way or another to reevaluate their position.'

AceShowbiz - Kody Brown and Christine Brown's split are not surprising for Kody's three other wives. The split, in fact, makes Meri, Robyn and Janelle reflect on where they stand with the "Sister Wives" star.
"All the wives knew and were aware of the split, so it wasn't news to them," an insider reveals to Us Weekly. "If anything, it sort of inspired the others in one way or another to reevaluate their position."
Kody wed Meri in 1990. He wed Janelle three years after, before making Robyn his first legal wife in 2010. Since polygamy is illegal in the United States, Robyn is Kody's only partner who is recognized by law.
Currently, each of the women are dealing with their own problems. Janelle, who spent the summer living in an RV on the Brown family's Arizona property, recently decided to rent a house in town for the winter. "Janelle found a new home. She's excited about spending time with her children for the holidays. Her kids are her real family," the source says of Janelle, who allegedly doesn't "often" see Kody and Robyn.
It was also said that Janelle is still keeping in touch with Christine despite the split. "[Janelle's] really close to Christine, so she's in constant communication with her," the source adds.
As for Meri, she has been in a strained relationship with Kody. "Meri and I have been in a very dark place for a very long time," Kody said February. "It's been more about trying to get ourselves out of this hole that we dug ourselves into."
"Meri could not be any farther removed from the other wives and Kody," shares the informant. "He's trembling and worried that Meri or Janelle are going to leave him."
Kody and Christine announced their decision to split in statements on their respective social media accounts on November 2. "After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave," Christine said on Instagram. "We will continue to be a strong presence in each other's lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family."
As for Kody, he wrote on his own account, "Christine's decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness." He went on to note, "We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her. Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents."
Christine and Kody had been together since March 1994. The two share six children together, Asypen (26), Mykelti (25), Paedon (23), Gwendlyn (20), Ysabel (18) and Truely (11).
