AceShowbiz - Missy Elliott couldn't be happier to get her own star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After receiving the honor, the "Get Ur Freak On" raptress expressed her excitement on social media, saying that she feels so "humbled."

Making use of Instagram on Monday, October 8, the 50-year-old shared some pictures of her from the ceremony. "We here baby! And I know a lot of people say (Missy it's bout Time) but this was the right time (God's Timing)& I am Grateful! This is a moment that I shall never forget & all the people who have been on this journey with me through my ups and downs & sickness," she gushed.

"I want you all to know how much you mean to me," the femcee further raved. "I am still filled by seeing I have a star amongst so many other great Stars my heart is Smiling and I thank all my SuperFriends and all the female EMCEES before me thank you for being the foundation for me Queens. I am HUMBLED! #hollywoodwalkoffame."

Missy was presented with the accolade at the ceremony which was held outside the Amoeba Records on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. At the event, she was joined by Lizzo, Ciara and Mona Scott.

During her speech, the "Work It" femcee gave shout-outs to other female rappers. "I can kind of give this to my female MCs in Hip Hop, to my sisters in Hip Hop. I wanna say I love each and everyone of y'all. The ones that's popping now, the ones that's about to be popping," she said. "But I want to give a big, big shoutout to the godmothers of this, and that is Queen Latifah, Monie Love, Sha-Rock, Angie Stone, Roxanne Shante, Yo-Yo, MC Lyte, Salt-N-Pepa."

"I know I'm probably missing some, but all of y'all who started before me. Because y'all are the backs that we stand on," she added. "Y'all are the foundation, and y'all ran so we could walk. Y'all stood up for something so we could sit comfortably, so I thank y'all for this moment."
