The 'Hurricane' rapper says in a new interview that it's his and his children's wish that he and the SKIMS founder are back together, though the media and people around her are allegedly against it.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West apparently isn't ready to let Kim Kardashian go. More than eight months after she filed for divorce, the rapper reminded everyone that the reality TV star is still legally his "wife" as their divorce is not finalized yet.

"She's still my wife, it ain't no paperwork," he said when appearing on Revolt TV's "Drink Champs" podcast on Thursday, November 4. Correcting the public that keeps saying they are "divorced," the Yeezy designer said, "We're not even divorced."

"This ain't no joke to me," the father of four stressed, adding that it's his wish and his children's wish to have him and his estranged wife back together. "My kids want their parents to stay together," so he claimed. "I want us to be together."

Ye also alleged that the entertainment industry and media are against them as a couple. "If you look at the media, that's not what they're promoting," he argued, insinuating that the industry wants a juicier story for the sake of business. "That's not what they want. They want it to be a new episode, a new TV show."

The Atlanta-native also blamed people around Kim for playing a role in their marriage split. "And then they have people all around in my wife's ear," he added, before slamming Kim's publicist for allegedly encouraging their split as saying, "I don't f**k with her."

Kanye's comments on his marital status with Kim arrive as the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum is rumored to be in a relationship with Pete Davidson. After their kissing scene on "Saturday Night Live" during her hosting debut, they were caught holding hands at Knott's Scary Farm in California on October 29.

Although it was initially said that they were just "friends" who hang around in the same circle, they fueled the dating speculation as they met for dinner two nights in a row during the reality TV star's stay in "The King of Staten Island" star's hometown of New York City.
