The 'Jurassic World' actor is slammed online after praising his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, for giving him a 'healthy' baby girl while his son with his ex, Anna Faris, is suffering serious health issues.

AceShowbiz - Chris Pratt has landed in hot water. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor was dubbed by social media critics "cringe and vile" for praising his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger for giving him a "healthy" daughter while his son with his ex Anna Faris is suffering serious health issues.
On Wednesday, October 3, the 42-year-old actor shared a sweet photo with Katherine on his Instagram page. Alongside a photo that saw Katherine looking longingly at him, he wrote, "Guys. For real. Look how she's looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!?"
"We met in church," Chris added. "The Tomorrow War" star went on to praise his wife as saying, "She's given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that's love!"
Chris continued, "She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles. That's the trade. Her heart is pure and it belongs to me." The "Jurassic World" actor then called his other half his "greatest treasure." He concluded his post as saying, "It's her birthday in about 6 weeks. So if I don't get her anything, I'll tell her to look back on this post. Love you honey. [love emojis]."
It didn't take long for social media critics to react to his caption. "The healthy daughter thing is a bit…considering he has a son with Anna Faris who has disabilities," one fan pointed out, causing others to weigh in on the alleged dig. "I love Chris Pratt, but the 'healthy daughter' part made me wince," another person wrote.
"Although he may not have meant it as an insult, it sort of came off that way. Imagine how that will make his son feel, if he ever reads it?" a separate user fumed. Another person angrily chimed in, "Chris Pratt has a kid with Anna Farris [sic] who suffered a cerebral hemorrhage during birth and now has slight physical disabilities because of it. But he made sure to write 'healthy daughter' here."
Chris and Anna's 9-year-old son Jack was born premature and underwent numerous operations as a result of his condition. When he was born in 2012, he weighed just 3 pounds and 12 ounces.
As for his 1-year-old daughter Lyla, Chris and Katherine welcomed her in August 2020 and announced the news with a sweet post via Instagram. "We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. We couldn't be happier and we feel extremely blessed! Love, Katherine and Chris," the proud parents wrote at the time.
