The 'Male Gigolo' star dedicates his final song on the reality singing contest to his spouse Patricia Azarcoya Arce before leaving the show after he was unmasked.

AceShowbiz - Funnyman Rob Schneider chose Luis Miguel's "Sabor a Mi" as his swansong on "The Masked Singer" as a tribute to his TV producer wife, Patricia Azarcoya Arce.

The "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" star was unmasked as The Hamster on Wednesday night's (20Oct21) show in America and revealed his final song choice was a dedication to his wife, explaining she's a big fan of Luis Miguel.

In his exit interview, Rob told EW.com he knew it would only be a matter of time before "The Masked Singer" producers called on him to make an appearance on the show.

"When I saw it after the first season I figured eventually they were gonna call me," he laughed. "I don't mean that egotistically, I just mean I'm a comedian who can also sing a little bit. I think it's perfect, because it throws the audience off and it's fun."

But he had issues with his hamster costume, adding, "I don't think that that's the best choice for a costume, because you can't move in it. I think if I would have to do it all over again, I would have kept the hamster head and just gone with like a regular fur suit or something that would have been better."

"But they're geniuses, the costume people, they really are. The stuff that they come up with is fantastic. They just keep upping it and making it crazier, and then the producers are brilliant because they talk you into wearing it. I don't know how they got Toni Braxton to put on a dead fish... or Larry the Cable Guy, to wear a baby with, like, one tooth. That's a scary-looking, horror film-type baby. I wouldn't do that. So I felt like I got the gift of being a more likable character."

Schneider also insisted that none of his famous friends - Chris Rock, David Spade, and Adam Sandler - will be appearing on the show anytime soon, because Rock wouldn't even consider it, Spade hates wearing costumes, and Sandler is claustrophobic.

"I think Adam Sandler would murder it, he'd be great at it, but he's claustrophobic," Rob says. "I remember how many hours it took him to get into the fat suit on (movie) Click, so I don't see him climbing into a suit like that anytime soon."
