AceShowbiz - Jamie Foxx is sharing his thoughts about marriage. In a new interview, the Django Freeman depicter in "Django Unchained" explained why he never wants to get married and become a husband.

"A lot of those marriages ended up not doing well as the kids got older. Unfortunately, we saw the kids get fractured from their families," the 53-year-old actor said when making an appearance in the Monday, October 18 episode of E! News "Daily Pop". He added, "Us, we actually came together more. So I don't know what that is, I just know that it is different but it's a whole lot of love."

During the candid conversation, Jamie revealed that he doesn't want the "cookie cutter" lifestyle, which involves "2.5 children, the wood paneling on the station wagon and the cottage." The actor, who played Electro in "Spider-Man: No Way Home", stated, "I didn't think that was for me," before adding, "The pressure of being married, I don't think we can have a conversation about it. I just keep moving."

Elsewhere in the interview, Jamie said that he keeps his "great family" close. He also believed his relationship with his two daughters, Corrine Foxx and Annalise Bishop, got better because he never tied the knot.

"It was by design to have my whole family living with me, because I don't want them living away from my circumstance," the "Act Like You Got Some Sense" author shared. "I want them to see and share the things that I go through. There's a lot of hard work, there's a lot of disappointment, but there's a lot of things to celebrate."

Jamie shares his daughter Corinne with his ex Connie Kline and Annalise Bishop with his other ex Kristin Grannis. The "Ray" actor was famously linked to actress Katie Holmes following the end of her marriage to Tom Cruise.

Jamie and Katie were reportedly dating in 2013. However, the former couple appeared to keep things under wraps for years before they made their romance red carpet official at the Met gala in May 2019. Shortly after going public, they decided to go separate ways.
