The newest talent show created by Simon Cowell has been stalled as a contestant is airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries after he was crushed by two cars.

AceShowbiz - Production on Simon Cowell's new talent show "America's Got Talent: Extreme" has paused after a contestant suffered a terrifying accident.
Jonathan Goodwin was airlifted to hospital after he was reportedly crushed between two cars in a daredevil stunt that went wrong on Thursday (14Oct21).
An "AGT" spokeswoman told Deadline, "During a rehearsal an accident occurred in which escape artist Jonathan Goodwin was injured while performing his act. He was responsive and was immediately taken to the hospital where he is continuing to receive medical care. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family as we await further updates on his condition."
Producers of the show, hosted by Terry Crews, and featuring Nikki Bella and Travis Pastrana as judges alongside Cowell, have opted to shut down filming for Friday, while health and safety officials investigate the accident.
Production sources tell TMZ Goodwin, who competed on "America's Got Talent" in 2020, was suspended by his feet in the air in a straitjacket and two cars were suspended on either side of him. The escape artist had to free himself from his restraints and fall on an air mattress below him to avoid getting crushed by the swinging motors. Something went wrong and the cars collided, crushing Goodwin and resulting in an explosion. Goodwin fell to the ground and hit his head.
Miraculously, Goodwin was responsive when he was airlifted to a hospital and rushed into surgery.
