Years after falling out with his 'Fast Five' co-star, the 'Jungle Cruise' actor shares the story of them sitting down together in the former's trailer to address their past drama.

AceShowbiz - Vin Diesel tested his new working relationship with former rival Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson by suggesting he gave the "Jungle Cruise" star acting tips during their recent trailer summit meeting.

The two stars fell out in 2016 after Johnson publicly complained about the professionalism of some of his "Fast Five" co-stars, calling them "candy a**es" in a since-deleted social media post. It was later determined he was particularly upset with Diesel.

Johnson told America's Vanity Fair magazine he recently sat down with Diesel in his trailer to address their past drama and came to the conclusion he and Diesel will never see eye to eye, because they are "philosophically two different people."

Diesel then suggested he gave Johnson "tough love" during their meeting, so he could improve his performance. The former wrestler claimed his co-star's comments were "bulls**t," admitting they made him "laugh hard."

"One part of me feels like there's no way I would dignify any of that bulls**t with an answer," Johnson explained. "I've been around the block a lot of times. Unlike [Diesel], I did not come from the world of theater. And, you know, I came up differently and was raised differently. And I came from a completely different culture and environment."

"And I go into every project giving it my all. And if I feel that there's some things that need to be squared away and handled and taken care of, then I do it. And it's just that simple. So when I read that, just like everybody else, I laughed. I laughed hard. We all laughed."
