Condolences and prayers pour in from friends and fans alike as the guitarist, best known as a member of rock band Cinderella, recently passed away at the age of 58.

AceShowbiz - Cinderella rocker Jeff Labar has died, aged 58.

The guitarist's son, Sebastian, confirmed the sad news on social media, calling his dad, "My hero, my idol."

Jeff's father, Bob LaBar, also shared the tragic news, adding, "We have been told that our son Jeff LaBar has passed away in Nashville."

LaBar accepted blame for Cinderella's inactivity in 2016, telling "Another FN Podcast With Izzy Presley" his drinking problem had driven a wedge between himself and his bandmates.

"I can only speculate, but I believe it's all my fault... I guess that's what caused a rift," he said, recalling a drunken fall he took during a cruise gig "in front of everybody."

"That's when the band... took notice and was, like, 'What the f**k?' "

"(Singer) Tom (Kiefer) and I that don't talk anymore. And I can only speculate that he's very disappointed and doesn't wanna see me die. He doesn't wanna witness me dying... I understand why he doesn't return my calls, and I don't blame him."

LaBar replaced original guitarist Michael Schermick in Cinderella. He also performed with Cinderella bandmate Eric Brittingham's band Naked Beggars.

The rocker and his wife Debinique also hosted radio show "Late Night with the LaBars" on www.realityradio.biz.

Shortly after his death was confirmed, Tom and Eric sent condolences and prayers.

They stated, "Heavy hearts cannot begin to describe the feeling of losing our brother Jeff. The bond between us over decades of creating music and touring the world is something that we as a band uniquely shared. Those memories with Jeff will be forever alive in our hearts. It's unimaginable that one of our band brothers has left us."

"We're sending his wife Debinique, his son Sebastian, family, and friends our deepest condolences. Jeff's memory and music will be with us forever. We all... band, family and management appreciate the overwhelming outpouring of love. Rest in peace, Jeff."
