The actress portraying Amy March in 'Little Women' also agrees that her romance with the 46-year-old 'Scrubs' actor bugs people because 'it's not who they expected.'

AceShowbiz - Florence Pugh keeps defending her relationship with her much-older boyfriend Zach Braff. Having received mean comments on Instagram because she is dating the "Scrubs" actor, the "Little Women" actress described the haters as "weird" people.

The 25-year-old beauty called out the critics when speaking to The Sunday Times. "It's so weird to me to go on to someone's page and s**t on it," she argued. "That's so not my nature - to go and bully for the sake of bullying. It's such an odd thing that we've become OK with in the past ten years of social media."

"The thing is, people want Instagram to be a nicer place, they want to see nice things. They want to be inspired and they want to be happy," the British native went on. "I don't mind you not liking me, that's absolutely fine. In which case don't follow me."

The "Midsommar" star agreed that her 21-year-gap relationship "bugs people" because "it's not who they expected." She then added, "But it's my life and I'm not doing anything to please people or to make it a better headline or story. I want to also be a person!"

Florence has previously slammed the trolls for minding her personal life. "I have the right to hang out and be with and go out with anyone I want to," she emphasized in a May 2020 interview with Elle U.K. magazine. "I've always found this part of what people do really bizarre. I'm an actor because I like acting and I don't mind people watching my stuff, but people have no right to educate me on my private life."

"I know that part of being in the spotlight is that people might invade your privacy and have opinions on it, but it's bizarre that normal folk are allowed to display such hate and opinions on a part of my life that I'm not putting out there," she continued. "It's a strange side of fame that you're allowed to be torn apart by thousands of people even though you didn't put that piece of you out there. My point to all this is that isn't it odd that a stranger can totally tear apart someone's relationship and it's allowed?"
