On the upcoming Marvel series, the 'Good Place' actress reportedly is set to play supervillain Titania, which was first introduced to the Marvel-verse in 1984 and created by Jim Shooter.

AceShowbiz - "She-Hulk" has reportedly found its villainous character in Jameela Jamil. According to a new report, "The Good Place" actress will be joining the cast of the Marvel series as supervillain Titania.
Jameela's character Titania, which was created by Jim Shooter, was first introduced to the Marvel-verse in 1984. The character is described as "a Marvel supervillain with incredible strength and a frequent rival of She-Hulk," according to Variety.
Neither Marvel nor Jameela has yet to comment on the report.
Should the rumors be true, Jameela will be joining Tatiana Maslany ("Orphan Black") who will be playing the titular superhero a.k.a. Jennifer Walters. The cast also includes Renee Elise Goldsberry ("Girls5eva", "Hamilton") as Amelia and Ginger Gonzaga ("I'm Dying Up Here") as Jennifer's best friend.
Additionally, Mark Ruffalo is set to reprise his role as The Hulk on the upcoming series. Meanwhile, Tim Roth will be returning as The Abomination, his character on "The Incredible Hulk".
"She-Hulk", which follows Bruce Banner's cousin Jennifer Walters, is just one of the many web TV series in development at the Mouse House streaming service following the conclusion of Phase Three of Marvel Cinematic Universe, which started with "Captain America: Civil War" in 2016 and ended with "Spider-Man: Far From Home" in 2019. Kat Coiro and Anu Valia will be in charge of directing "She-Hulk", with Jessica Gao serving as head writer.
As for Jameela, she's best known as Tahani Al-Jamil on NBC's "The Good Place". She additionally has landed roles in "Crossing Swords", "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous" and "DuckTales". She currently serves as the host on "The Misery Index" and a judge on HBO Max's voguing/ballroom competition series "Legendary".
