The 'Cruella' actress sets the record straight on the rumors suggesting she fell and injured her shoulder while attending the 'Wannabe' group's concert in U.K.

AceShowbiz - Actress Emma Stone is baffled by reports suggesting she broke her shoulder at a Spice Girls concert in 2019.

The "La La Land" star hit headlines two years ago when it was claimed she had taken a hard fall while partying at a Spice Girls reunion show at the U.K.'s Wembley Stadium.

Sources subsequently insisted she had actually hurt herself during a fall at her home in London, where she was preparing to shoot new Disney film "Cruella", and now Stone has opened up about how she really sustained the injury, revealing the "Wannabe" hitmakers had nothing to do with the mishap.

During an appearance on America's "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", she explained, "I broke my shoulder in June, 2019 and we were supposed to start filming Cruella (that) August, or maybe even July, and I broke my shoulder in two places. But, for some reason, the story became that I broke my shoulder at the Spice Girls concert, that I was on somebody's shoulders and fell and broke my own shoulder. That's just not true."

Stone, who has made no secret of her love for the Spice Girls, reveals she did attend one of the pop superstars' concerts, but her arm was already in a sling as she had slipped and fallen on the eve of the big gig.

"I was supposed to go to the Spice Girls concert in London and I did go, but the night before someone had like, a little house party nearby," she said.

"This was 2019, pre-COVID, so people could all be together and mingle, and I was on a waxed floor in this house and I slipped and my arm went back behind me and I broke my shoulder."

Stone, who recently became a first-time mother, made a full recovery and was able to shoot "Cruella" as planned later that summer.
