AceShowbiz - Peter Gunz made headlines after he made an offensive comment to his ex-wife Amina Buddafly's rumored boo Zimzon after Amina shared a video of him lifting her up during a workout session. Now, Peter tried to make things right with Amina and apologized for his remarks in a recent Instagram Live.
In the Live session between Peter and Amina, the former spouses discussed the matter with the singer confronting Peter. "You did say something about him," she told him, referring to Peter commenting, "does he lift his boyfriend like that? Just asking for a friend... idk?" underneath The Shade Room's post.
Later, Peter apologized for the matter. In response to that, Amina said, "Alright! Cool! Cool!" Peter also admitted that what he said was "wrong, I was immature." However, Peter made it clear that he still didn't like the fact that Zimzon lifted her like a dumbbell.
This arrives after Zimzon clapped back at Peter for the comment. In a statement via his rep, Chris Giovanni, he said, "In response to Peter Gunz's statement implying that I am homosexual, that is far from the truth." He went on saying, "I am a real African man that actually knows how to take care of a woman."
"Focus should continue to be on his children, and not WHO is making his ex-wife happy," he added.
Peter's comments prompted Internet trolls to attack him, "The way he treats women HE probably wants a boyfriend," a fan said of the former "Love & Hip Hop: New York" cast member. Another person ridiculed him, "Peter a hater cause he can't even lift a finger." There was also a user who slammed Peter for having "TOXIC MASCULINITY."
"Grandpa just pressed cuz he could nevaaaa," another troll wrote. "Peter need to go to hell!!! I'm happy to see my sis Amina got tired of doing it with Tara and peter for the kids," one fan added.
