The stand-up comedian calls out the 'Follow God' rapper over his infamous 'slavery was a choice' comment and claims that Kanye only released a Christian album because 'his last albums didn't do well.'

AceShowbiz - D.L. Hughley is clearly not a fan of Kanye West, and he has once again publicly called out the rapper during in an interview with VLAD TV. The comedian has several times been critical of the founder and head of the creative content company DONDA, but this time he took issue with his infamous "slavery was a choice" comment and his religious music.

"He's a tremendously talented dude but a morally bankrupt human being," he said, alleging that the "N***as in Paris" hitmaker has no morals. Of the 42-year-old's Christian album "Jesus Is King" and his Sunday Service ceremonies, the actor claimed, "When albums didn't sell, this n***a sold God to n***as."

D.L. also commented on Kanye's political aspirations as the hip-hop star previously declared that he planned to run for president in 2024. The former "The Hughleys" star said Kanye was too vain to be the leader of the United States as he fails to see his own mistake most of the time.

This isn't the first time D.L. called out Kanye. In an old interview, he said that Kanye only appears smart to "dumb people" and that the fashion designer has no real advisers, but only enablers who surround him.

He also often criticized Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian, questioning her agenda behind her prison reform work. He was upset that the reality TV star got all the praise for her work while there have been many African Americans who have done more for black people but get no attention at all.

He once joked about her history of dating black men while commenting on the aspiring lawyer's visit to the White House to discuss prison reform. "Kim Kardashian meeting with the president to discuss prison reform makes sense," he enthused at the time. "Who's screwed more Black dudes than her and the prison system?"
