AceShowbiz - Tekashi69 a.k.a. 6ix9ine's Instagram Live was a highly-anticipated one as it marked his first public appearance since he was released from prison due to coronavirus in early April. Over 2 million viewers were tuning in to the livestream on Friday, April 8, with Lil Nas X being one of them.
The "Old Town Road" hitmaker made his presence be known as he jumped in the comments to gush about the "Gummo" rapper's looks. Shooting his shot with the New York City native, the openly gay star casually wrote, "no homo he looking kinda cute."
Also among the viewers of 6ix9ine's IG Live was "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Masika Kalysha, who tried to troll the rapper with a question about his responsibilities as a father. "U saw ur daughters yet or nah," she asked him, following his baby mama Sara Molina's claims that he had never tried to reach out to their 4-year-old daughter since his prison release.
But Masika's comment backfired, as Baddie Gi, one of the strippers allegedly involved in a strip club assault with Cardi B, clapped back at her. Jumping in the comments of TheNeighborhoodTalk's Instagram post, she wrote to Fetty Wap's baby mama, "This wack old b***h stfu h*e."
6ix9ine went on Live on Friday to hype up the release of his first music post-prison along with its music video. Titled "Gooba", the song's lyrics are filled with references to COVID-19 and his cooperation with federal prosecutors.
The 24-year-old artist directed the music video along with CanonF8 and David Wep, and filmed it in his backyard due to his home confinement. The colorful visuals see him being joined by six scantily clad dancers, his girlfriend Jade and a Dalmatian puppy.
Hours after the release of the promo, the "FEFE" spitter, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, bragged that it has collected 16 million views in just 4 hours. "YouTube is frozen," he declared in an Instagram post that has since been deleted. "And with this GOODNIGHT I literally s**tted on every hater and doubter keep punching the air ILL BE MAD TOO how a rat litter then you #nastywork."
