AceShowbiz - Coronavirus lockdown doesn't stop Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from doing their humanitarian works. On Wednesday, April 15, the couple was spotted out in Los Angeles to deliver food to people in need amid the crisis. It marks their first sighting since they relocated from Canada to California in March.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dressed down, with Meghan wearing a white shirt and dark pants with white sneakers. She also wore a blue cap and a mask. Her husband Harry, meanwhile, donned a gay shirt and khaki pants with a dark cap. He used what looked like a bandanna or handkerchief tied around his neck as a mask.
Their sighting comes after it's reported that Harry and Meghan have been helping distribute meals with Project Angel Food, a Los Angeles nonprofit that prepares and delivers medically tailored meals to people living with chronic illnesses. The couple volunteered on Easter Sunday and Wednesday, according to PEOPLE.
"They were extremely down to earth and genuinely interested in every single person they met," said Richard Ayoub, Project Angel Food's executive director. "They engaged with our chefs, they engaged with clients - they just wanted to make sure that people felt the love and appreciation. Their goal was really to just honor our chefs and staffs and volunteers by being of service."
"What Meghan said is she wanted to show Harry Los Angeles through the eyes of philanthropy. It's just beautiful," he continued gushing about the couple. "There's obviously a great deal of love and selflessness between them. They both are individuals who want to know about others. Our clients are clients who are often forgotten. They really wanted to go visit these people. They wanted to see them and talk to them and hopefully put a smile on their faces."
