The 'Basketball Wives' star takes to her Instagram account to break the devastating news to her online followers, thanking Larry 'for being the greatest stepfather a girl can ask for.'

AceShowbiz - Evelyn Lozada mourns the death of her stepfather Larry, who has become the latest victim of Coronavirus. On Tuesday, April 14, the "Basketball Wives" star took to her Instagram account to break the devastating news to her online followers.

"On Monday 4/6/20 I lost my stepfather Larry to Covid-19," Evelyn wrote alongside a couple of pictures of her and his late stepdad. "Larry, as you sit in heaven enjoying the company of God, I say thank you for the great memories & thank you for being the greatest stepfather a girl can ask for!"

It appeared that that day was supposed to be Larry's birthday as the reality TV star concluded, "Happy birthday in paradise."

Several of her famous friends jumped into the comment section to send their condolences. "I am so sorry Evelyn praying for supernatural comfort & peace," Adrienne Bailon wrote. "Power" actress La La Anthony chimed in, "So sorry to hear this. Sending love and prayers to ur family."

"Sorry for your loss. God be with your Mother & family," said Keri Hilson. Meanwhile, Somaya Reece added, "I'm deeply sorry for your loss my sister! I send my blessing."

Evelyn is not the only celebrity who has lost her loved one to Coronavirus. Earlier this month, "Saturday Night Live" star Michael Che shared with his fans and followers that his grandmother passed away on April 5, and that left him fuming over conspiracy theories surrounding the virus.

In an Instagram post captioned "i swear, im fine," the 36-year-old stand-up comedian began his open letter by admitting that he is "obviously very hurt and angry" that his grandmother "had to go through all that pain alone." Still, he added, "But I'm also happy that she's not in pain anymore. And I also feel guilty for feeling happy."

"I actually believe this is 5G poisoning, and not because I've done any research on this, or even understand what 5G really is," he stated. "I just refuse to believe I lost my sweet, beautiful grandma because some n***a ate a bat one time. I'm sorry. Even if that IS in fact how this all started. I'm just not willing to accept that right now. F**k that. I need a better story."
