The 'Harry Potter' actor is going to be adding father to his resume as his girlfriend of nine years, Georgia Groome, is pregnant with their first child together.

AceShowbiz - Actor Rupert Grint is preparing to become a dad for the first time.
The 31-year-old British star, who is known for portraying Ron Weasley in the "Harry Potter" film series, is expecting his first child with girlfriend Georgia Groome.
"Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time," a publicist for the couple confirms to Us Weekly.
Rupert previously opened up about his desire to start a family, and admitted he was unlikely to take inspiration from his movie character's name if he had a boy.
"I'd like to settle down and have kids soon. If I had a son, would I call him Ron?" the star mused to The Guardian in December 2018. "It's quite a good name, but probably not. And Grint's a tough name to pair a one-syllable first name with."
Rupert and Georgia have been dating since 2011.
