AceShowbiz - Amanda Bynes will have to give up custody of her child when he or she is born due to her mental health issues.
Sources told TMZ the pregnant star is currently receiving treatment in a psychiatric facility, and plans are in place for Amanda's father and her fiance, Paul Michael, to share custody of the baby.
They explained Amanda's dad is part of the arrangement because she remains under a conservatorship run by her parents, who have taken care of her, and made her legal and medical decisions for years.
The "Easy A" star isn't reportedly aware she's losing custody, and the insider claimed her pregnancy and engagement will not affect the terms of her conservatorship.
The "Hairspray" star and Paul announced Amanda is expecting her first child on Tuesday (March 17), amid reports suggesting they had called off their engagement and reconciled, while the actress had been ordered to check into rehab by a conservatorship judge.
When TMZ reached out to the actress' attorney, David Esquibias, he told the publication: "I'm not confirming that Amanda is expecting and because of that it's premature for anyone to speculate about who would have custody of Amanda's unborn child."
