AceShowbiz - "Frozen II" star Rachel Matthews has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The 26-year-old actress, most well known for voicing Honeymaren in the Disney sequel, took to her Instagram Stories on Monday night (16Mar20) to inform fans of her diagnosis.

"Hey guys, I tested positive for Covid-19 and have been in quarantine the last week. Unsure of what the next step is (been getting mixed info so will keep you posted) but obviously will remain in quarantine until told to do otherwise," she wrote. "I'm feeling better but I will be posting some info that I hope will be helpful to some."

"Let's please be mindful of our decisions -- now is the time to be smart and responsible. Let's take care of one another!! Xx."

Rachel, who only got tested because she had been "showing symptoms" after being in touch with a confirmed case of Covid-19, also revealed a rundown of her symptoms, starting from sore throat and headache on the first day, and progressing to a "deep, dry cough" on Day 3.

Rachel is the latest celebrity to test positive for the virus, following Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Olga Kurylenko, Kristofer Hivju and Idris Elba.

Heidi Klum is still awaiting the results of her test, having fallen ill last week, but told her fans that her husband Tom Kaulitz had tested negative for the illness. She will receive her results on Thursday (19Mar20).

Destin Daniel Cretton, the director of the upcoming Marvel movie "Shang-Chi", also told his followers that his test had luckily come back negative, while Kris Jenner is also believed to have emerged from the test unscathed, according to Entertainment Tonight.
