
As India attempts to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the Bollywood legend explains that he is taking precaution by putting a stop to the Sundays gathering at his Jalsa house.

AceShowbiz - Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has urged fans to stop gathering outside his house in Mumbai every Sunday as part of India's attempt to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Devotees have paid their respects to the acting veteran weekly for years - and he often greets them personally with handshakes and hugs, but Bachchan has decided to cease the meet and greet until the pandemic is under control.
"PLEASE DO NOT COME TO JALSA GATE TODAY.. SUNDAY MEET am not going to come!" the actor tweeted on Sunday, March 15. "Take PRECAUTIONS... be safe."
On Monday, movie bosses in India announced all film and TV production will cease from March 19 to March 31.
"In view of the epidemic spread of Corona COVID-19 virus SHOOTINGS FOR ALL ENTERTAINMENT FORMATS TO STOP FROM 19-3-2020 TILL 31-3-2020," the Indian Film & Television Directors' Association statement reads.
Producers on all shoots have been given three days to wrap up work on productions.
As of Monday, India has confirmed a total of 110 coronavirus cases and two deaths in the country.
