After reaching out to Roddy Ricch and Chris Brown, the 'In da Club' hitmaker, who is executive producing the late rapper's album, reveals another dream guest for the set.

AceShowbiz - Fans won't have to wait long for Pop Smoke's posthumous album. Just days after making public his intention to complete the upcoming project of the late slain rapper, 50 Cent finally announced when he plans to release the work.

Taking to his Instagram account on Tuesday night, March 3, the "Candy Shop" rapper informed his followers that the new record is "set for release in May." While he got Roddy Ricch's consent for a collaboration, he has apparently not done recruiting. In the same post, he reached out to Post Malone as writing, "oh yeah @postmalone i'm gonna hit ya phone, i need you on this."

Fiddy's shoutout to Post, however, was not welcomed by Pop's fans. One criticized, "Man make this a real pop smoke album not a 'pop album' getting all these pop stars smh." Another one chipped in, "Nah get UK drill artist on it his sound was inspired by their sound don't get a bunch of guys that are hot over here that don't make sense for a legitimate collab." A third warned, "Don't force the features."

A third one warned him.

Noticing the complaints, the "Power" actor/co-creator came out with an explanation in a follow-up post. "i'm looking at everything through a different lens, everybody i call ain't coming but i'm doing what i have to do to make it hot," he assured. "i don't like a lot of you weak a** n***as but i likes pop smoke."

Malone has yet to respond to Fiddy's offer, but another rapper Snoop Dogg wrote in the comment section of Fiddy's post, "I'm waiting on the call cuz." To which, the "In da Club" hitmaker simply replied, " oh you know i'm a need that snoop."

50 Cent responded.

Earlier this March, Fiddy announced that he would executive produce the Pop Smoke's full-length album. "i'm on the move listening to Pop smoke, i decided i'm gonna executive produce and finish his album for him," he said. Since then, he reached out to a number of other hip hop stars including Drake and Chris Brown for their involvement in the project.
