The 'Karate Kid' star's mother proudly shares a video showing her shirtless son after opening up that she and her husband Will Smith once staged an intervention because they're worried about his health.

AceShowbiz - Jaden Smith's family and fans now have no reason to worry about his health anymore. The son of celebrity couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith is looking healthy and fit in a new video posted on Instagram Stories.
Shared via his mother's account, the clip shows the 21-year-old actor/singer going shirtless, revealing his muscled arms and ripped abs. "This is what happens when your son comes home...," Jada jokingly said in the video, before her son interrupted, "C'mon mom. You know what it is."
Jada seemed to be proud of her son's body after previously opening up on her Facebook talk show "Red Table Talk" about Jaden's worrying eating habits that prompted her and her husband to stage an intervention. As they discussed health and food in the September episode, "The Matrix 4" star talked about the said event.
"Will and I had a bit of an intervention with Jaden because he's a vegan now, but we realized he wasn't getting enough protein," she explained. "So he was wasting away. He just looked drained, he was just depleted, he wasn't getting enough nutrients."
Will chimed in, saying that his actor son once had "dark circles under his eyes" and "even a little grayness" to his skin. The "Aladdin" star noted, "We got really nervous, but you're definitely looking better now."
Jaden later clarified, "I also just wanna say that I'm vegetarian, that I've tried to be vegan. I'm vegetarian, you know, I've tried to eat vegan meals. I'll go vegan for a week or so but for the past year I've been vegetarian."
"The Karate Kid" actor continued, "I was just eating like two meals a day...maybe one. Maybe just that one big meal and I'm like, 'Oh, you know, I didn't get around to it.' " However, that habits of his soon manifested into sickness that once sent him into a hospital in Australia and left his entire family in fear.
His younger sister Willow Smith recalled, "That scared me. I was about to hop on the plane to Australia." Trey Smith, Jaden's half-brother and Will's son from his a previous marriage, claimed that they were all feeling the same.
