Spilling secret about her happy marriage with police officer Brendan McLoughlin, the 'Tin Man' singer claims to never let her celebrity status affect their relationship.

AceShowbiz - Miranda Lambert never lets her celebrity status affect her marriage, and believes that's what has kept her relationship with husband Brendan McLoughlin so strong.
While Miranda is one of the most famous country singers in the world, her other half is a New York police officer. But speaking to News.com.au, the 36-year-old explained she has the ability to switch on her "normality" when she gets home to Brendan, which has helped the couple maintain a happy marriage.
"He's very laid-back and easygoing, so he fell into this life so easily with me," Miranda smiled of her husband. "Plus I'm really normal, and I think that's what keeps us happy. I have a very public job, but when I'm done, I go home and we don't let that get into our marriage."
The "Tin Man" singer is currently on the road promoting her latest album Wildcard, which is full of the "fun country songs" Miranda is known for. And while the country music industry is perhaps more well known for melancholy tunes about the hardships of life, the stunning blonde is keen to point out you don't have to be sad to be able to write a good country song.
"It is possible to put yourself in a place to write sad songs – it's a good reminder that you can write when you're happy," she mused. "Country music is basically based on sad songs, but it was definitely a more upbeat writing process for this record."
