Explaining 'The Talk' co-host's hair transformation, celebrity colorist Jack Martin reveals the star's new look arrives after several attempts that end up 'with a disaster.'

AceShowbiz - Sharon Osbourne has gotten through a major hair transformation. Having been known as a redhead for the past eighteen years, the wife and manager of rocker Ozzy Osbourne traded in her signature look for "100% white" color.

Showing off Sharon's new look was celebrity hair colourist Jack Martin. Taking to Instagram on Monday, February 17, he uploaded a before-and-after photo of the "The Talk" co-host. "Another great day in my career welcoming the most beautiful and elegant talk show host and entertainer @sharonosbourne for a complete transformation," he wrote in the caption of his post.

"Sharon has 100% white hair and she was coloring her hair once a week dark vibrant red for the past 18 years," he continued. "She explained to me that she wanted to do this transformation long time ago but every time she attempts it ends up with a disaster. Sharon was very tired of coloring her hair once a week and she was obligated to since she is on tv almost every day hosting her popular tv show @thetalkcbs."

Martin, who owned a salon in Tustin, California, went on to share the long process both of them have to go through to get the perfect final look. "I didn't promise Sharen anything but I told her I will try my best, it took me a total of 8 hours from start to finish to get her to a platinum blonde so she doesn’t have to be committed to coloring her hair once a week anymore," he said. "I had great time spending my day off with this gorgeous, humble, and sweet soul."

The unveiling of Sharon's new look came just weeks after she and her husband went public with his Parkinson's disease diagnosis. In January, the couple stopped by "Good Morning America" and revealed that they seeking radical treatment to battle his latest health woes.

"We've kind of reached a point here, in this country, where we can't go any further, because we've got all the answers we can get," Sharon explained, "so in April, we're going to a professor in Switzerland and he deals with getting your immune system at its peak. We're gonna go wherever we can go to seek answers."
