AceShowbiz - Boxer Gervonta Davis has been arrested for an alleged domestic violence on his former girlfriend Andretta. The 25-year-old athlete turned himself in to police on Tuesday, February 4, according to Coral Gables PD.

The news of Gervonta's voluntary surrender was announced via Coral Gables PD's official Twitter account along with his mugshot. He has been charged with simple battery domestic violence for a February 1 incident involving his baby mama.

Gervonta was captured on camera manhandling his baby mama while attending a charity basketball game on Saturday in Miami for Super Bowl weekend. The current WBA lightweight champion was seen grabbing the mother of his child by the collar and hauling her off the chair before forcefully dragging her out with two men following him.

Words were Gervonta a.k.a Tank was drunk and he slapped Andretta backstage, after seeing her getting chummy with Floyd Mayweather, Jr.. The boxer, however, denied the accusation. "I never once hit her, yea I was aggressive and told her come on…," he wrote on Instagram after the incident. "That's the mother of my child I would never hurt her other than that happy New Years.. January was trash."

People then flooded the internet to criticize him. VH1 reality TV star Tiffany Pollard wrote, "I Watched this over and over again in DISBELIEF. My heart TRULY goes out to her because no woman EVER deserves to be greeted this way. #SCARY," while another social media user declared, "#GervontaDavis is CANCELED!!!"

He later deleted all his Instagram posts, but still posted Story of him partying with friends. Showing no remorse, he was seen singing and dancing to music.
