The Slim Shady scores double victory in the U.K. charts with his controversial album 'Music to Be Murdered by' and one of the new singles that features the late Juice WRLD.

AceShowbiz - Eminem has scored a double success by topping Friday's January 24, 2020 U.K. singles and albums charts.

The rapper's surprise eleventh studio album, "Music to Be Murdered By", debuts at number one on the Official Charts Company's albums rundown, while his track "Godzilla", featuring the late Juice WRLD, tops the singles chart.

The stellar week means Eminem extends his record-breaking run of consecutive U.K. number one albums to 10 - a feat no other act in British chart history has achieved.

The hitmaker saw off a strong challenge from The Courteeners who, despite leading the race at the midweek stage, finish at number two with "More. Again. Forever." The victory should be particularly sweet for the hip-hop star as the indie rockers' frontman, Liam Fray, recently criticised the "Lose Yourself" hitmaker for lyrics on "Music to Be Murdered By" referencing the 2017 bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in their hometown of Manchester, England.

At three is Lewis Capaldi's "Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent", with Bombay Bicycle Club's comeback record "Everything Else Has Gone Wrong" at four. Stormzy's "Heavy Is the Head" rounds out the top five.

Godzilla's entry at the top of the singles rundown earns Eminem the rare feat of debuting at number one. The track edged fellow rapper Roddy Ricch's social media-fuelled hit "The Box" into second place by just 93 chart sales.

Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, and Burna Boy's "Own It" is at three, with The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" in fourth place. Lewis Capaldi's "Before You Go" completes the top five.
