The 'Mixed-ish' actor officially announces that he is going to reprise his role as Zack Morris in the upcoming revival along with original star Mario Lopez.

AceShowbiz - Mark-Paul Gosselaar has confirmed he'll reprise his role as Zack Morris in the upcoming "Saved by the Bell" reboot.

It was previously reported that Gosselaar's character is now the governor of California, but the actor would not be making an appearance in the revival, which will air on NBC's planned streaming service, Peacock.

However, Vulture has since reported the star told press at a Television Critics Association event he'll definitely be returning for new episodes.

"Everybody can sleep well at night," the "Mixed-ish" star joked.

In spin-off show "Saved by the Bell: The College Years", Zac proposed to fellow student Kelly Kapowski, and it was later revealed the pair were happily married.

Gosselaar also confirmed actress Tiffani Thiessen was set to return as Kapowski, adding, "I think Tiffani has been engaged with - it looks like you will have us in some capacity."

"Champions" star Josie Totah will lead the cast of the new show as cheerleader Lexie, "the most popular girl at Bayside High." Original "Saved By the Bell" stars Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley will be reprising their roles as A.C. Slater and Jessie Spano, respectively.
