AceShowbiz - Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt's relationship is nothing but getting better each day. Following their drama, the two exes now have a "real bond," according to a source.
"They've always cared about each other, and they think fondly of their time together," a source reveals to Us Weekly. "For Jen, seeing Brad is like seeing a dear old friend again. They have a real bond."
Before ending their five-year marriage in 2005, Jen used to think that the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star "was her soulmate." It was said that they stopped speaking to each other after their split, followed by Brad going public with his romance with Angelina Jolie.
Now, even though the road there wasn't easy, the famous stars are slowly working on their relationship. The actor and the "Friends" alum are on much better terms. Brad was even among the guests at Jen's 50th birthday bash in February and her holiday party on December 14.
"Jen and Brad are friends and occasionally connect," another source spilled. "There's no chance that a potential run-in between Jen and Brad [at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards and SAG Awards] will be tense or uncomfortable."
"A reason Brad and Jen get along so well now is that they've agreed to bury the past and not analyze what went wrong," one other informant adds to Us Weekly. "They're both looking forward, not back."
The "Ad Astra" actor allegedly "has taken responsibility" for his past actions. "He's tried to make amends. He didn't realize the magnitude of the hurt he caused Jen at the time. He was so swept up in Angelina Jolie, he couldn't see outside that tunnel."
