K-Pop superstars BTS (Bangtan Boys) swept the board at the 2019 Melon Music Awards on Saturday, November 30, taking home eight top prizes.
The hitmakers claimed gongs for Artist of the Year, Record and Album of the Year for "Map of the Soul: Persona", and Song of the Year for their Halsey collaboration "Boy with Luv".
The single also earned them Best Dance Performance, among other accolades, and BTS showed fans why they deserved the honours by turning the prizegiving in Seoul, South Korea into a mini concert, performing an extended set which included moments in the spotlight for each individual member of the group.
Other winners at the event included artists TXT, Chung Ha, Seventeen (II), ITZY, and The Boyz.
