The couple appeared to shut down rumors of their rocky relationship as they were seen all smiles in their first public appearance following the kissing catastrophe.

The 55-year-old actress and her director husband put on a united front when they attended daughter Asia's performance in the play "Into the Woods". In a photo that the "Harlem Nights" star shared on her Instagram account on Tuesday, November 12, Lela was seen flashing a beautiful smile as she posed with Antoine and their daughter.

Her husband, who was twinning with her in a navy outfit, was also seen smiling in the picture. As for Asia, who played Cinderella in the play, she was featured holding several flower bouquets.

"Congratulations to our amazing daughter @asiafuqua on her starring role of 'Cinderella' in #intothewoods you killed it baby girl. We are so proud of you! Shine forever bright!!' so Lela captioned the snap.

The comment section was filled with congratulatory messages, one of which was from Tina Knowles. The mother of Beyonce Knowles wrote, "Congrats to the beautiful Asia a true star in the making. she got it from her mama." One fan, meanwhile, gushed, "Beautiful and talented just like her mom. Congratulations Princess Asia."

In related news, it is said that "through prayer and faith in Christ, Lela has forgiven her husband" after he was caught kissing Nicole in Italy back in July. The sources who are close to the Fuqua family add that "Antoine is doing everything in his power to make it up to his family."
