AceShowbiz - Singer/rapper YK Osiris is preparing to fight his girlfriend's allegations of assault following his release from jail over the weekend, November 09-10.
The "Worth It" star was arrested on 4 November in Atlanta, Georgia on a felony charge of aggravated assault by strangulation, weeks after his partner told police back in September about a physical altercation they had had earlier that month - which ended with him reportedly choking her and biting her face.
Osiris was denied bail after his arrest, but sources tell TMZ he was finally released from Fulton County Jail over the weekend, ahead of a trial in the near future.
Osiris is now planning to dispute the criminal charge and clear his name.
In a statement issued to TMZ, his attorney Gabe Banks writes, "YK Osiris maintains his innocence and looks forward to his day in court to defend against all of the allegations against him."
